How much I love my God Daughter Mary MaKayla. She is just the most perfect baby in the world! She only cries when she is have her diaper changed! She is such a good baby and almost a spitting image of her mother! Just had to stop by to post a few more pics! Hope everyone enjoys! I know I always love seeing baby pictures!

Well my God Daughter has officially been brought into this world. She was born May 3rd 2009 at 2:30pm! She weighed 7lbs 5.6 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is soooo perfect! First at picture then I will tell the story!

Now for story time:

Saturday started out as any other normal day I woke up got ready for work which is always 4pm-3am on Saturday's. Around 10:45pm the phone at work rang I answered and to my surprise it was Tiffany's mother. She said Tiffany's water had broken and that they were headed to the hospital. I told them to call me and let me know when they got to the hospital because I didn't think that I was going to be able to find someone to come in so I could leave(I am a manager at my job so I can't just leave when I want) I hung up the phone and was soooo upset because I just knew I was going to miss the birth! Anyway fast forward to 4 am I arrived at the hospital and went in to see Tiffany she was doing good and was dilated to a 3 so they said it would be about 6 or 7am before we had a baby so they wanted everyone including the mommy to be to rest. So I went to the waiting room to try and get some sleep, about 9 am I got to go back to the room and decided that I was not leaving until Tiffany wanted me to or the nurses ran me out. She dilated from a 3 to 7 within one hour and then the next thing everyone knew she was pushing. She did such a wonderful job throughout her 15 hours of labor. I admire her so much for her courage and strengh through the whole birth process of her first child. Anyway to make a long story short I don't want to bore anyone. At 2:30pm the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen was brought into this world. She gave Tiffany a scare for a minute because she didn't cry like most babies do but I just kept trying to tell her that there was nothing wrong with her she was just our shy little Mary. I must say being in that room with Tiffany was one of the most memorable moments of my life and I don't think she will ever truly understand how much it meant to me to be a part of her special day. I don't think I will ever be able to repay her! Well off to bed I have to get some rest so I can go see my God Daughter bright and early in the morning!

Well I am off work today and pretty much confined to the house due to sickness (my kitty and myself) and also had a procedure done today that I am suppose to rest! (woops if i mess up in this post just excuse me...i am on pain medication.)

Anyway on to the real reason for this post:

well I was planning on posting pics from the shower today but I had a very serious change of plans. I knew I had to take Terrika the the vet because she hasn't really been eating for the past 3 weeks but when I got to the vet I found out that is was alot more serious then I thought. About two months ago Terrika went to Birmingham to be spayed and apparently she developed an infection in her liver which caused her to loose her appetite. So I now am giving her 4 different types of pills and force feeding her food with a syringe. If she doesn't get any better by Friday they are suggesting that I take and have her put in ICU so they can work on getting her better which will cost me anywhere from 1100.00 to 2100.00 which is an amount of money I do not have due to the massive shower that I just hosted. So I am asking everyone to please say a big prayer for my baby Terrika! And as soon as I get her better I will post the pics from the baby shower.

Well the Breakfast at Tiffany's themed baby shower is tomorrow. Can't stay on here long just wanted to write a little something so I could take a break. The next time you hear from me there will be tons of pictures from the shower...so prepare yourself. It may take me a few days but I will get them on here! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

One Long Night

Well it is now 1:30 am and I am finally going to try and get some sleep. This week is just pure craziness. Between working my 50 hour work week and trying to get everything ready for the baby shower I am driving myself crazy. Well just wanted to make a quick post. As I said in my earlier post I was working on the favors for the shower tonight sooooo......

All of the extra M&M's will be in a bowl on one of the tables at the shower along with a bowl of pink M&M's.

I will post some pictures of the favors with the note attached when I get all of them through...I didn't quite get that far tonight seeing how I have to get up at 7:30 in the morning to do a couple of things before I go to work.

Favor Fixing

Well today I am working on the favors for the baby shower...we are going to do aqua and white m&m's packaged in little white organza bag with a cute little note attached that reads:

Thank you all for stopping by
But as I am a little shy.
I thought today I'd stay away
Mommy said that it's ok.
Friendship is hard to measure
But something mommy (and daddy) will treasure.
I hope to see you all very soon,
Because in here there isn't much room.

This little poem sums up my little goddaughter perfect! She loves to play hide and seek with me whenever I am around Tiffany and baby girl starts moving or kicking Tiffany will tell me to come feel but the very minute that I put my hand on her stomach baby girl will quit until I take my hand off and look away...so we always joke around saying that she is shy. Also baby girl has grown so much that she has no where to go inside Tiffany's stomach. You can always see some part of baby girl and when she decides to move...you better look out!

The Best Invitations

I had custom invitations done for the BAT baby shower and they turned out wonderful thanks to Katie Cobb. She is so talented she has her own business MicahandMe.com! I suggest that everyone go and check out her stuff it is wonderful. She packaged them in the most adorable way.

I will post another picture of a closer image when I get a chance to take a picture of it I have just been really busy with work and getting everything ready for the shower. I am so excited for the shower I have soooo much planned I have gotten everything bought except for the supplies for the games and I have a couple of more presents to buy for the mother to be and I am also waiting on one more shipment to come in. Well off to work on some more stuff for the shower. I will talk to all of you later.

Well it is getting closer to the day of my Breakfast at Tiffany's theme baby shower for my best friend Tiffany. I went today to look at the venue where the shower will be held so that I could get an idea of how it is set up so that I can kinda figure out the set up of the shower. I am so excited for the 25th of April. Tomorrow I am going to post some pictures of some of the stuff for the shower. Until then it is goodnight to all.

So I went to get my usual highlights and haircut and I ended up with this! I LOVE IT!!!! Granted it was a total shock seeing how the only thing I have had done to my hair is blond highlights and once some auburn low lights. But I am so totally loving the auburn and blonde. I think the blonde took my breath away more than the red because it is sooooooo blonde. I know you can't really tell the actual true color from this picture but just trust me it is blonde. I go back in June and can't decide if I want to keep this look or try something new. Only time will tell....!!!

ok so i started this blog in november of 08 but i haven't really been able to get into it all. i don't know if it is because i am just too busy or just don't really want to take the time to sit down and do it. but that is all about to change. my life is really busy right now but it is fixing to be alot more busier. i have been planning a huge baby shower for my best friend of about 15 years and next month is when my beautiful god daughter arrives in this world. i will be taking a vacation from work the week she is born so that i can be there and help tiffany out with whatever she may need as this will be her first child. so all and all my life may be very very busy right now but i am going to try and make it my goal to get on here everyday even if it is only to say hello to everyone

Another Boring Saturday

Well today is another boring Saturday. It seems as though one of my off days at work is always Saturday, why I don't know I would actually perfer to work on a Saturday because it always seems to be one of our slow days (sometimes anyway). Well i closed last night and then just decided to stay up so I could get some stuff done. I gave the new kitten a bath, cleaned house, and made some cheesecake bars to take to work tomorrow. Then I went to my mothers for breakfast got on the internet for a little while and then decided that I would venture out to town to look for a battery for my new camera. I went to Circuit City first and of course they didn't have any so I decided I would try Target (I wanted to look at Christmas stuff anyway) and of course after standing around at the camera counter for about 10 minutes I couldn't get anyone to help me so me with my no patience self gets pissed off and leaves. Then I decide that I am going to go to Wal-Mart I get there and quickly decide that I am not even going to attempt to go in being it is a Saturday midday during Christmas season. I then just come home and go to sleep for most for the day. So in conclusion I once again had a boring good for nothing Saturday. I really need a LIFE!!!

Well here goes....I have recently found a new obsession....myspace and blogging! Now since I am so interested in reading everyone elses blogs I decided why not try it myself!
